What Are Tremors?

Tremors are involuntary shaking movements that affect up to 75% of people with Parkinson's. They are usually seen as the most identifiable symptom of Parkinson’s Disease.

Types:

Resting Tremors

  • Happen when you're relaxed (watching TV, chatting, lying down)

  • Usually stop when you move intentionally

Action Tremors

  • Occur during activities like writing, eating, or reaching for objects

  • Happen when you're trying to do something specific

Mixed Tremors

  • A combination of both resting and action tremors
